Staff explained that this was a 'housekeeping' amendment to make set back requirements for signs the same as set back requirements for parking. No one spoke in opposition. The Planning Board voted 5 to 0 infavorof a motion to recommend to the City Council that the zoning amendment contained in C.O. 4 94-439 be approved. 'Article 3, Section 3 is an amendment to change the freestanding sign definition to be consistent with the freestanding sign definition in the Sign Ordinance (Chapter VI, Article 3.) C. Article 6, Section 4; is an amendment to allow accessory use structures (signs, lighting, utility service) less than half the building set back from a public right-of-way. d. Article 11, Section 3.2 is an amendment to make parking in GC S S consistent with the parking requirements in the other developing area districts. e.
