Thurston, Police Department 1. Parkin on Bellevue 'Avenue Residents from the neighborhood were present to discuss with the Committee the parking proposal presented by Dr. Wibby which would prohibit parking at the State Street end of Bellevue Avenue, would retain one-hour parking spaces around the driveway of Dr. Jillson and would add two spaces on Dr. Wibby's side of the street. The proposal in effect is to eliminate the problem of hospital employees parking on Bellevue Avenue. Those residents attending were Mrs. Molly Stern, Larry Schiro, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Eels. Ed Grab=, Mrs. Longer and Mr. and Mrs. Goldsmith, and expressed their concerns and opposition to the proposed changes. Dr. Wibby was also present. The Committee agreed to make no changes to the parking restrictions as they currently exist on Bellevue Avenue. 2. Animal Waste Ordinance. _ The Committee agreed with Councilor Brown's recommendation that cats be removed from the ordinance, to limit the ordinance to park areas only and that the ordinance be placed in the Parks Ordinance under Chapter VI, Article 12, Section 4. The amendment will be considered at the January 9th Council agenda. Greg Boober and At Weymouth were present for discussion of this matter. _ 3. Crossing Guide at Fruit E State Streets. The Committee agreed with Lt. Thurston's recommendation to eliminate the noon -time crossing guide at the Fruit 6 State Street location. Adjourned at 4:02 p.m. Akt
