a. FM Flight Service Station The Committee recommended award of the
contract to M. D. Hardy, Inc., at $545,000.00.
2. Stillwater Gardens.
For informational purposes only, the City Solicitor gave the Committee a
final rough draft copy of an agreement between the City and the
Stillwater Gardens developer for their view. The full City Council will
receive copies of the document.
3. Boyle, Tamer Agreement - Viral Amo IdsMDilitatim.
The City Engineer explained there las been an ongoing contract with
Hoyle Tanner to try to correct the problems with the drainage trenches
and heavy duty apron at BIA. One contract was for a study phase, which
has been completed. It is approximately a million dollar project which
needs to get underway as soon as possible in order not to loose the
money, which has been earmarked by FPA. TM City's share is 58. This
contract will cover all remaining services except for the resident
eglneering, which the City will take care of on a contractual basis.
Ttese engineering services are included in the City's 58 share at
approximately $73,000, which includes preliminary design, final design,
bidding phase, general ognstrortion administration and control and
testing (concrete testing). The Committee xeoomaudud approval and a
Council Order will be prepared for the Novmimer 13th agenda.
