Cammity Development. The C ttee approved two loans, one for property at 108-110 Forest Avenue and one for property at 55 Maple Street. At their last meeting the Camittee took no action on disposition of property 23 Mt. Hope Avenue asking the City Assessor to provide a valuation figure. Phe Committee received a ropy of Ube Assessor's letter. 1Rc staff's original recommendation was to split the property between the two abutters at no cost based upon a previous Finance Committee decision that unbuildsble lots be given away and split amag abutters and that saleable properties be given t9 the PurOhsaing Agent to sell. Sally Thompson indicated she weld like to have a policy from the Finance Conittes for hurdling shrplus property. The Comattee unanimously recommended that 23 Mt. Hope Avenue be put Out for sale by bid by the purchasing Agent. Tbrnpsm indicated sbe would write the interested abutters informing them a the Camittea•e decision. 2. Semrdsry Treatment Alternative - Pilot Plant Study (Ralph Mishm). The Conittee recommended approval of a Oamcil Order for the Iwgust 26th meeting which authorizes the expenditure of $6,000 for a four week pilot plant study from Lenox Research Institute to determine if an alternate treatment method is available other than mnstruction of a secondary treatment facility. 3.
