Passed 3-0. f Paring Garage Revovations(Creamery Development) Iesn's Waterproofing of Auburn($93,146.00) Stan Moses explained that the war ofthe project exceeded available funding. He requested permission to negotiate farther with the low bidder in order to have contract amount within available fording levels. Approved. Award bid to low bidder, Ieam's Waterproofing in the amount of $93,146, contingent on the Engineering Department reviewing the plans to determine if them are other aRavatives such as stainless steel clips and determining whether this type of work would become a periodic cost over the life of thegarage. Passsd3-0. 4, Sole Source Contract with Mame Commis, mc., for Anditorium Ventilation Project Approved. Passed 3-0. 5. Mowing Adjacent to 51 Vacant Military Housing Units( a) Ravdoiph Drive & Maxwell Lane Approved amending management agreement with Bangor Housing Authority to include responsibility for vowing adjacent to the recently acquired 51 vacant housing writs at Randolph Drive and Maxwell Lau in the amount of $478 per mowing with a maximum of 15 mowinga. Passed 3-0 6, Fire Station's Vehicle Exhaust Removal System Approved recomvreMatov to award the sole source bid for the Fire Station's Vehicle Exhaust Removal System to Au Cleaning Specialists in the amount of $34,452. Chief Cammack noted don; the recommendation was for the"PlymoVem' system. This would ensure that ad stations were compatible and is the same system that was neercty installed atthe Motor Pool. Passed 3-0. 10. Hose S Fire Museum Agreements Chief Cammack brought font a request by the Hose 5 Museum that world aher the existingagreem ut placebe mnthe CityofBangorand}I 5Mueeum. The Museum is asking that the Real Estate Option Agreement be terminated, leaving title and owneohip of dm budding with the City of Bangor. The museum is also asking to modify the tenor of the lease by removing the armed payment in return for repital improveaonts to the facility. The Committee directed smdito develop a new agreevmnt addressing these issues including a mhuvam number of days to be in operation and to returo to this - Committee. PaoedM. 11. Request to Waive Purchasing Respohnom Approved recommendation to awerd sole source repair to Howard P. Fairfield in the amour of $39,4W, Bob Partner explained that the damage was incurred during the Jammy, an storm. The coo of the repair coni be covered- by EEMA rambersement. Passed 3-0. 12.
