Bids: a. Trees and Shrubs. Multiple awards were approved as 0 owi 3f s: Millan Nurseries $ 7,396.00 Stewarts Nursery 3,878.00 The Greenwcrks 4,198.00 Sprague's Nursery ' 465.775 s TMM- b. Granite Curbing_ Award approved to Maine 6 New Hampshire Granite Company in the amount of $28,851.60. 2. Selection - Airport Consultant. The Finance Commsittee will meet as a selection committee for interviewing firms to do improvement projects at the Airport on Tuesday, April 24th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The Purchasing Agent has set up interviews with four firms on this date and the interviews will be held at the Airport Manager's Office. The Council's Airport Committee will be notified of the interview sessions. 3. Sidewalk at Federal -Building. By Council Order 84-134, the Council had previously authorized the City Manager to enter into an agreement with the General Services Administration for ve lacement of the sidewalk in front of the Federal Building on Harlow Street with the coat to be spliton a 50-50 basis. The City's share would be $7,000 which ;was_ to be taken from Community Development funds. Sincethat time the City Engineer has learned that the GSA has hired a contractor to do this work whereby eliminating the use of the C.D. funds. The Committee asked the City Engineer to pursue the possibility of negotiating the use of Community Development funds or to reschedule the work on the sidewalk which was scheduled for the first of July. The Committee did not recommend taking the $7,000 from the Sidewalk Account. Committeeadjourned at 6:50 p.m.
