The meeting was called to order at 4:35 p.m

Rod McKay, Director, Community Development explained to the Committee
the status of the parcels of land involved in a land transfer. In
Mr. McKay's memo to the Committee he recommended the following: That
the city accept the Church's one-half interest in the Garland Street
Property a a credit at equal value towards their purchase of the
24,805 a.f9 of property at the St. John's location. This would
result in the City receiving $15,980 for the St. John property and
full title in the Garland Street property valued at $12,000. After
discussion, it was moved that the following recommendation be made to
the Council that the City of Bangor accept the proposal as outlined.
Item No. 2: Proposed Lease Aoreament - Suildina 092 SIM
Steve Bolduc explained to the committee the proposal made by the
Economic Development Division to Portland Air Freight regarding the
leasing of Building 692 at the Airport. They are interested i
leasing 2500 of the 4000 a.f. of the building and are willing to pay
the utilities, etc. for the complete building and are acceptable to
the possibility of the leasing of the remainder of the building to
another tenant. Jane Seal moved that the lease be negotiated with
Portland Air Freight. Bill Cohen seconded the motion. SO voted.
Item No. 3 Council Ordinance 90-341
Tom Small explained to the committee that this Ordinance was a
process to update the existing ordinance to adopt Current SOCA
National Property Maintenance Code changes. Bill Cohen moved that
above ordinance be recommended to the council for acceptance. Jane
Seal seconded. So voted.
