PLANNING BOARD OF THE CITY OF BANGOR
MEETING OF DECEMBER 3, 1996
MINUTES

Chairman Myerowitz called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m and explained the
components of the agenda for the benefit of the audience.
CONSENT AGENDA
As no one wished to remove the item from the Consent Agenda, Chairman
Myerowitz asked for a motion.
Mr. Burgoyne moved to approve the Consent Agenda. The motion was seconded
by Mr. Drummond and it passed by a vote of 5 to 0. The item approved was:
Item No. 1: Site Development Plan approval to fill and grade and place an 8' x 8'
utility building on property located on the corner of Main and Railroad
Streets in a Waterfront Development District. City of Bangor,
applicant.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Item No. 2: Planning Board Approval of Minutes of November 19, 1996 Planning
Board Meeting.
The minutes of the November 19, 1996 Planning Board Meeting were
unanimously approved as printed.
NEW BUSINESS
Item No. 3: Site Location of Development Modification and Site Development
Plan approval to construct a 1,542 sq. ft. addition to the existing
convenience center building located on Bangor Mall Boulevard for
restaurant use in a Shopping and Personal Service District. Kravco,
applicant.
Planning Officer Lord explained that a revised plan had been submitted which
included all of the information which the original plan lacked. The plan was, therefore,
now in order for passage and Staff recommended that the modification to the Site
Location License and Site Development Plan approval be granted by the Planning Board.
A motion by Mr. Hall was seconded by Mrs. Woodcock to approve the modification
and site development plan and it passed 5 to 0.
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS
Item No. 4: Planning Board Review of Correspondence and Other
Communications From the Planning Office.
Planning Officer Lord handed out a schedule of Planning Board Meetings for 1997.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
