HomeMy WebLinkAbout1996-10-28 96-419 RESOLVECOUNCIL ACTION Date: 10-25-96 Item No. 96-419 Item/Subject: RESOLVE, Appropriating Passenger Facility Chargee, Bangor International Airport Responsible Department: Finance Commentary: Over the past several years, the Council has taken a number of formal actions to adopt Passenger Facility charges for the Airport. These are additional charge per ticketed passenger which Federal Law allows us to collect and to use for capital projects directly related to commercial aviation use of the Airport. Under o adopted and FAA approved program, these foods e to be used forrimprovements to the aircraft parking aprons surrounding our terminal complex. Council Order 96-316 authorized the City to expend these funds for apron improvements. Funds will continue to be collected through May 31, 2005. The first phase of construction will begin this fiscal year. The attached resolve will appropriate those funds which have previously been received as well as future receipts to a capital account designated for this purpose.
