Date October 16 1996
Item/Subject, Authorizing execution of Municipal Quitclaim Deed
-- Real Estate Located at 163 Third Street
Responsible Department: Legal
Commentary:
In June, 1994, the City recorded a sewer lien against the property
at 163 Third Street, which has now matured. On September 19, 1996,
and without a workout agreement, the outstanding sewer charges and
all real estate taxes on the property were paid. The Finance
Committee recommended approval of a Municipal Quitclaim Deed at its
meeting on October I, 1996. The attached Order would authorize
release of the City's title.
