TWT Edward A. Barrett, City Manager, is hereby authoxized,
on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute -a Municipal Quitclaim
Deed directed to David S. Newell and Vaterie Jane Newell, a
copy of said deed being attached hereto.

The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, for consideration paid, releases
to DAVID S. NEWELL and VALERIE SANE NEWELL, husband and wife, both -
of P.O. Box 6631 Monxoe,-County of Waldo, State of Maine, as Joint
Tenants, the land with any improvements thereon in Bangor, County
of Penobscot, State of Maine, bounded and described as follows:
A certain lot or parcel of land being the
generally easterly half of part of a carriage
way shown on a plan of Broadway Park filed in
Penobscot Registry of Deeds, Plan Book 1, Page
53, and more specifically described as beginning
at the generally southwesterly corner of the
land described in a deed to the Grantees herein
from Hugh T. Holland, dated October 15, 1973 and
recorded in said Registry, Book 2414, Page 263;
thence proceeding westerly in a continuation of
the southerly line of said land conveyed to the
Grantees a distance of 15 feet to the center
line of the carriage way; thence northerly along
the center line of the carriage way 98.5 feet,
more or less, to the extension of the northerly
line of said land of the Grantees; thence
easterly along said extension of the northerly
line of the Grantees 15 feet to the north-
westerly corner of land of the Grantees; thence
generally southerly 98.5 feet more or less along
the westerly line of the Grantees to the point
of beginning.
The purpose of this deed is to release any interest
acquired by the City of Bangor in the property described herein by
deed of Ebenezer French at al., dated April 24, 1835 and recorded in
Book 55, Page 478, and any other interest.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
Baled with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate cane by
EDWARD A. BARRETT, City Manager, thereunto duly authorieedt this
day of September, 1996.
