COUNCILOR ICalled to Order at 7:30 p.m. Chaired by Council Chair Cashwell Councilors Present: All Except Allen&Gratwick IAdjourned at 8:10 p.m. Proclamation: Proclaiming Bangor's Goal to Become Maine's Cleanest City HAWES IPUBLIC COMMENTS: Mr. Christopher Popper, 131 Grant Street,and Steve Adam of 121 Branch Street,expressed their displeasure regarding the enforcement of an old Ordinance which prohibits ball playing in public streets. I Both gentlemen indicated that they would be in attendance the following evening at the Government Operations Committee meeting to discuss this issue in more detail. Ms. Vicky Carlson of 9 Linden Street stated that she I Had complained about this issue,but that she likes kids,but had been having problems with some adolescents in the area.
