Proclamation: Proclaiming Bangor's Goal to Become Maine's Cleanest City HAWES
IPUBLIC COMMENTS: Mr. Christopher Popper, 131 Grant Street,and
Steve Adam of 121 Branch Street,expressed their displeasure regarding the
enforcement of an old Ordinance which prohibits ball playing in public streets.
I Both gentlemen indicated that they would be in attendance the following
evening at the Government Operations Committee meeting to discuss this
issue in more detail. Ms. Vicky Carlson of 9 Linden Street stated that she
I Had complained about this issue,but that she likes kids,but had been having
problems with some adolescents in the area. She also said that she would
be attending the Government Operations Committee meeting.
