The attached Order would authorize execution of a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing the City's title to property located at 12
North Park Street. The City's title arises from aar lien
recorded against the property on November 9, 1994. The lien was
Paid in full on July 9, 1996, but bad matured two months earlier,
on May 9, 1996. There is no workout agreement. City records
reflect a balance of $88.13 remainingunpaidon this property's Fy
1996. real estate tax bill.
On July 15, 1996, the Finance Committee recommended approval of the
proposed Order, subject to a conditionthat the balance due for Py
1996 real estate taxes be paid in full or a workout agreement
signed prior to execution of the Quitclaim Deed by the Finance
Director.

ORDERED,
THAT Ronald I. Beller, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the real
estate'located at 12 North Park Street in said Bangor by virtue of
a matured municipal sewer charge lien recorded in the Penobscot
Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Ann C. Davis,
as grantee.

The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantor, for consideration
Paid, releases to ANN C. DAVIS, as Grantee, of Bangor, Penobscot
County, Maine, a certain lot or parcel of land situate on the
generally northerly side of North Park Street in said Bangor, and
more particularly described as follows:
Twocertainlots of land, with the buildings
thereon, situated in said Bangor, On the north
side of Broadway Park, so-called, on what is now
known as North Park Street, being lots numbered
fifty-four (54) and fifty-five (55) on the west
side of Broadway as laid down on plan of
Broadway Park made by J. Prescott, Surveyor,
bearing date April 10, 1835, and recorded in
Penobscot Registry of Deeds, Plan Book 1, Page
53. Said lots being each of them one hundred
feet in length from north to south and twenty-
seven in width from east to west.
ALSO, a certain lot or parcel of land situate on
the generally northerly side of North Park
Street in said Bangor, bounded and described as
follows, via: beginning at a point on said
North Park Street, being the generally
southeasterly corner of lot #53 in accordance
with a Plan of Lots known as Broadway Park by S.
Prescott, Surveyor, hearing dated April 10,
1835, and recorded in the Penobscot Registry of
Deeds, Plan Book 1, Page 53; thence in a
generally northerly direction by and along the
easterly line of said let #53 one hundred (100)
feet to the generally northeasterly corner of
Lot #53, situate on Congress Street; thence in a
generally westerly direction by and along the
southerly line of Congress Street eighteen (18)
feet to a point; thence in a generally southerly
direction and at all times parallel with the
generally easterly line of said lot #53 one
hundred (100) feet to a point on the generally
northerly line of said North Park Street; thence
in a generally easterly direction by and along
the generally northerly line of North Park
Street eighteen (18) feet to the point of
beginning. Meaning and intending to convey a
strip of land eighteen (18) feet wide extending
from said North Park Street to Congress Street,
aext adjoining the westerly line of Lot #54 in
ccordance with said Plan.
Being the same premises described in a Warranty
Deed with Covenants from Lillian W. Nand to the
Grantee herein., dated December 3, 1982 and
recorded in Book 3245, Page 84, Penobscot
Registry of Deeds.

Any and all other rights, easements, privileges
and appurtenances belonging to the granted
estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantee any
interest the Grantor may have in the above described property by
virtue of a sewer lien recorded in Book 5151, Page 329, Penobscot
Registry of Deeds. All public easements or other public interests
in the described premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are
expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
sealed with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate Deana by
RONALD I. HELLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized
this day of July, 1996.
