Frederick Bryant -- Bangor Police Department Responsible Department: Legal Randy Harriman, Police Chief, has reached agreement with G. Frederick Bryant for the display of historical items at the City Police Station. The agreement was forwarded to the Municipal Operations Committee on Tune 19, 1996. The purpose of this Resolve is to ratify the Chief's action in executing the agreement. Frederick Bryant for the display of historical items at the Bangor Police Department is hereby ratified and confirmed. A copy of the agreement is attached to this Resolve and is incorporated herein by reference. Frederick Bryant and the City of Bangor regarding a display of items owned by G. Frederick Bryant on the property of the City of Bangor. These items are of historical interest to Me Bangor Police Depammemt and other police agencies. • The City of Bangor agrees to allow G. Frederick Bryant to display items owned by him in display cabinets located at the Bangor Police Department. The Ciry of Bangor agrees that all items displayed in the cabinets are the property of G. • Frederick Bryant and docs not make any claim of ownership due to the feet that these items may formerly have been Me property of Me City of Bangor. • The City of Bangor agrees that G. Frederick Bryant will keep Ne only keys to Ne display cases, and that any damage to Me display cases will be immediately reported to him Bryant. • The City of Bangor agrees to maintain Me display cases and repair any damage immediately. • G. Frederick Bryant agrees to remove anv item from display that is deemed to be disagreeable to the City of Bangor, or its representative. • The City of Bangor agrees that should it become necessary to remove Me display cases. G, Frederick Bryant will be given at least two weeks notice of Me need to remove the display cases, and that personnel firm the City of Bangor will assist in removing the items and display cases from the building. • The City of Bangor agrees that G. Frederick Bryant may remove items owned by him from the display cases at any time that the location is normally available to Me public. • G. Frederick Bryant agrees not to hold Ne City of Bangor responsible kr am loss or damage W his items displayed on City property, that was not directly and maliciously caused by City of Banker personnel • G.
