'Supplement No. 2" to an existing lease with the Federal Aviation Administration. Supplement No. 2 would add 0.30 acres located in Hermon to a site currently leased by the FAA from the City of Bangor as a location for various radio navigation and related facilities. The additional land is needed to allow relocation of the Airport's "Far Field monitor" and to upgrade BIA'S instrument landing system. A copy of "Supplement No. 2" is attached, together with a sketch showing the location in Hermon. DTFA12-82-LR1576 THIS SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of June �1996, by and between the City of Bangor, Maine, whose interest in the property is that of owner, hereinafter referred to as the Lessor, and the United States of America, Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, hereinaHer called the Government. kstilvidleRIYi:i WHEREAS, Lease No. =Al2-82-4Rl576 granted the Government property rights for the CAT D IIS, RVR, and ALSF serving Runway 15 at the Bangor International Airport; and WHEREAS, Supplement No. 1 to Lease No. DTFA12-82-G111576 modified Item No. 6 of Exhibit A, "Middle Marker -]car Field Monitor Plot" to expand the site plot an additional 100 feet; and WHEREAS, the Government has determined that additional land is required to relocate the Far Mondor and allow the Bangor 15 MS to be upgraded to CAT HU and WHEREAS, the Government desires to modify Item No. 6 of Exhibit A, "Middle Marker -Far Field Monitor Site Plot" to expand the site plot; NOW THEREFORE, the parties hereto do hereby mutually agree to amend said Lease as follows. 1. Replace Item No. 6 of Exhibit Awith the following revised property description Middle Marker - Far Field Monitor Site Plot Fmm a point marking the intersection of the landing threshold and centerline of Runway 15, proceed N 45-08'-00" W, 2500 feat more or less to a point marking the point ofbegimdng of the Middle Marker -Far Field Monitor site plot; 96-254 thence proceed S 44-12'4)0" W, 25,0 feet more or less to a point thence proceed N 4548'-00" W, 265.0 feet more or less to a point, thence proceed N 44-12'-00" E, 50.0 fret more or less to a point; thence proceed S 45-48"-00 E, 265.0 feet more or less to a poinp thence proceed S 44-12'.09'W, 25.0 feet more or less to the point of beginning of said Middle Marker -Far Field Mender site plot. Said plot contains 0 30 acres of land more or less. All bearings are lure based on Runway 15-33 centerline ofN 4548'-00" W 2. All other terns and conditions of said Lease are hereby ratified and, except as amended herein, shall be and remain the same.
