Coimsentary:
City sewer liens on the property at 390 Center Street have matured,
resulting in the City acquiring title. when the City allows late
redemption of tax -foreclosed or r lien -foreclosed property, our
stated policy is to issue a quitclaim deed to the property Owner Or
mortgage holder who has paid the taxes or other charges concerned.
In this instance, the mortgage holder wishes to have the title stay

ORDERED,
THAT Ronald 1. Heller, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the real
estate located at 390 Center Street in said Bangor by virtue of
matured municipal sewer charge liens recorded in the Penobscot
Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Dennis 0'D.
Dunn.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantor, for consideration
paid, releases to DENNIS O'D. DUNN, of Newport, Penobscot County,
Maine, as Grantee, the property located in Bangor, and more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning on the generally westerly line of said
Center Street, at the generally southeasterly
corner of the lot of land conveyed by William K.
Hallett to C. Gardner Chalmers by his deed dated
June 19, 1907, and recorded in the Penobscot
County Registry of Deeds in Book 776, Page 263;
thence running southerly on said westerly line
of Center Street ninety-two and one half (92
1/2) feet, more r less, to the generally
southeasterly corner of lot number fifteen (15)
according to a plan of land made by George H.
Hamlin, C.E., April 1898, and recorded in said
Registry in Plan Book No. 6, Page 24; thence
running westerly to the generally southerly line
of said lot number fifteen (15) one hundred
three (103) feet, five and one half (5 1/2)
inches, more or less, to the generally
southwesterly comer of said lot number (15); _
thence northerly on a line parallel with said
Center Street ninety-two and one half (92 1/2)
feet; thence at right angles easterly one
hundred three (103) feet five and one half (5
1/2) inches to the westerly line of said Center
Street and the point of beginning, being the
whole of said lot numbered fifteen (15) and a
strip of land thirty-two and one half (32 1/2)
feet off the southerly side of lot numbered
sixteen.
Being the same premises as described in
Warranty Deed with Covenants from Clyde A.
Morrill to the Grantee, dated April 26, 1990 and
recorded in Volume 4634, 'Page 36, Penobscot
Registry of Deeds.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges
and appurtenances belonging to the granted
estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is t0 release to the Grantee any
interest the Grantor may have in the above described property by
virtue of unpaid sewer charge liens recorded in volume 5642, Page
97; Volume 5642, Page 98; volume 5642, Page 99 and Volume 5642,
Page 100, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. All public easements o
other public .interests in the described premises for roads, sewers,
or other purposes are expressly reserved.

The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
Baled with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
RONALD I. HELLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized,
this day of April, 1996.
