Summary The proposed ordinance change will amend the zoning at 1722 and 1726 Broadway. The applicant, Pray's Properties, LLC operates a used car sales establishment at 1722 Broadway. The site was first established in 1989. The existing site has serious erosion issues which has influenced the applicant to seek additional stable ground to maintain the business. If approved, the zone change will not enlarge the commercial district, but relocate portions of the business to adjacent land better suited to their operation. WHEREAS, the zoning boundary lines as established by the Zoning Map of the City of Bangor dated October 28, 1991, as amended, be hereby further amended as follows: By changing two parcels of land located on Broadway (Tax Map No. R 31, Parcel 1, and Parcel 2) from General Commercial and Service District to Rural Residence and Agricultural District (parcel 1) and Rural Residence and Agricultural District to General Commercial and Service District to (parcel 2). Said portions of parcels containing approximately .76 acres each and being more particularly indicated on the map attached hereto and made a part hereof.
