At some point the outstanding charges were paid, but the lien was never discharged. Because the lien has matured, a municipal quitclaim deed is necessary to release the City's interest in the property. There are no outstanding real estate taxes or property issues. Cyr, Finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have by virtue of an undischarged sewer lien recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of Deeds in Book 12675, Page 235.
