Authorizing Execution of a Municipal Quitclaim Deed - Real Estate Located at 23 Elizabeth Avenue
Summary
In 2011 a sewer lien was filed on the property of Kollen Spinney, now owned by Ballerina Properties,
LLC. At some point the outstanding charges were paid, but the lien was never discharged. Because
the lien has matured, a municipal quitclaim deed is necessary to release the City's interest in the
property.
There are no outstanding real estate taxes or property issues.

Authorizing Execution of a Municipal Quitclaim Deed - Real Estate Located at 23 Elizabeth Avenue
Be it Ordered by the City Council of the City of Bangor that, Deborah A. Cyr, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized and directed, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any
interest the City may have by virtue of an undischarged sewer lien recorded in the Penobscot County Registry
of Deeds in Book 12675, Page 235. Said deed shall be directed to Ballerina Properties, LLC. in final form
approved by the City Solicitor or Assistant City Solicitor.
