Amending Chapter 33, Code of Ethics, Section 33-20 Powers and Duties
Summary
This ordinance would amend the Code of Ethics to provide that if the Board of Ethics has no recommendations for
any changes to the Code of Ethics it shall so advise the Council.
The City's Ethics ordinance presently provides that the Board shall make annual recommendations for revisions to
the Code. This amendment clarifies the Board's responsibilities to also advise the Council if it is not
recommending changes.
