AGENDA
1. Discussion: Eaton Place Access & Widening
John Theriault explained Eaton Place was a tight street situated between Fourth and Fifth Streets. The street is 11’-
14’ wide paved. Carol had requested a widening of the location for ease of entering and leaving her property. John
explained the feasibility unlikely as there would only be inches that could be used to aide in her request without
encroaching on neighboring properties.
Carol Cutting addressed her request to widen the street with the Committee and Angela Farrell addressed her
concerns in opposition, as it would take her front step away and pose safety issues.
The Committee suggested when the road was proposed to be paved, they address the issue at that time. In the
meantime, Public Works Department could assist with snow removal, at the request of residents, to help alleviate
traffic movement.
No Action Necessary
2. Discontinue Summer Street
John explained Summer Street was located between South Street and Railroad Street. The request is for the City
Engineer to begin the process to discontinue Summer Street.
Motion Made and Seconded for passage.
Meeting Adjourned.
