HomeMy WebLinkAbout2012-07-23 City Council Minutes MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING BANGOR CITY COUNCIL – JULY 23, 2012 Called to Order at 7:30 PM Chaired by Council Chair Weston Councilors Absent: Durgin Adjourned at 8:46 PM PUBLIC COMMENT Joe Savoy, owner of Union Street Laundry & Dry Cleaning informed the City Council of a problem he was having with the kids who utilize the skate park. The kids are getting into the Dunkin Donuts dumpster at night and having donut fights on his property creating a lot of mess. Tracy Willette indicated he was aware of the situation and was working on some changes. Lt. Hunt was also aware of the situation. Chief Ron Gastia introduced Jill Bechtold as the new civilian dispatch supervisor. Joel Hanson, of Bangor Neon Signs spoke in favor of changes to the electronic signs ordinance.
