Item No. 1 5 High Street – Together Place
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness to repaint the house.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness approval granted / denied by a vote of 5 to 0.
Item No. 2 300 Union Street – Bangor Theological Seminary
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness for the addition of a sculpture garden,
accompanying landscape and lighting reconfiguration.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness approval granted / denied by a vote of 5 to 0.
Item No. 3 175 Union Street – Warren Center for Communication & Learning
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness approval to install a projecting sign.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness approval granted / denied by a vote of 5 to 0.
Item No. 4 34-38 Main Street – Edward C. Russell and Carolyn K. Russell
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval to replace the
asphalt roof with a metal roof.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval granted / denied by a
vote of 5 to 0.

Item No. 5 158 Main Street – W.C. Weatherbee & Sons
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval for exterior
work. If the exterior material is granite or masonry it will be cleaned. If the material is metal it will
be painted a granite color.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval granted / denied by a
vote of 5 to 0.
The next scheduled meeting is Thursday, August 8, 2002, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
