Lutz, agent for Leland Lutz To consider a request for a Certificate of Appropriateness for the removal of the old chimney to the roof line and rebuilding to the original configuration. Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness Approval granted / denied by a vote of 5 to 0. Item No. 2 73 Central Street – H.C. Lending, Inc. To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval to install a wall sign. Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval granted / denied by a vote of 5 to 0. Item No. 3 191 Broadway – Phillip Sykes To consider a request for a Certificate of Appropriateness to (1) construct a first floor addition on the south side, (2) vestibule added on the north side, (3) remodel basement entrance and (4) install bay window on the north side of the first floor. Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness granted / denied by a vote of 4 to 1. Item No. 4 115 Main Street – Ames A/E To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval to replace the fabric on the Main Street awning, install a new awning on the Middle Street side of the building and install a projecting sign. Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval granted / denied by a vote of 5 to 0. The next scheduled meeting is Thursday, March 11, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber.
