PUBLIC HEARINGS
1. 48 Main Street – Heather vanFrankenhuyzen
To consider a request for a Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval to
install a projecting sign and a wall sign at 48 Main Street
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review granted by a vote of 4
to 0.
2. 72 Broadway – Lee Souweine
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness approval to replace a door.
Action Taken: Tabled to next month.
3. 202 Exchange Street – Oliver Holdings, LLC
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval to
install a faux brick façade on street level.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval granted by a
vote of 4 to 0 with the condition that the color of the brick be approved by the
Commission as the project moves forward. The applicant must contact city staff to
schedule a viewing of the color(s).
4. 96 Hammond Street – Massimo Ranni
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness approval to install a projecting
sign.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness approval granted by a vote of 4 to 0.
5. 96 Hammond Street – Hammond Street Courtyard, LLP
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness approval to replace existing
wood sash with new wood sash, the same as existing 2/2 with SSB glass and putty
glazing.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness approval granted by a vote of 4 to 0.
6. 67 Pine Street – Bob and Suzanne Kelly
To consider a request for Certificate of Appropriateness approval to replace existing vinyl
and wood storm windows with Harvey TruChannel storm windows.
Action Taken: Certificate of Appropriateness approval granted by a vote of 4 to 0.
The next scheduled meeting is Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the third floor
Council Chambers.
