Earlier this year the Treatment Plant received full payment of
outstanding sewer charges against property located at 78 Seventh
Street owned by Daniel E. Clifford. The lien was recorded in May
1995. Because this lien has matured, a municipal quitclaim deed is
necessary to release the City's interest.
The Finance Committee recommended approval at its meeting held on
September '15th.

ORDERED,
THAT Ronald 1. Heller, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the real
estate located at 78 Seventh Street in said Bangor by virtue of a
matured municipal sewer charge lien recorded in Book 5847, Page
141, Penobscot Registryof Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to
Daniel E. Clifford. -

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantor, for consideration
paid, releases to DANIEL E. CLIFFORD, of Bangor, Penobscot County,
Maine, as Grantee, a Certain lot or parcel of land together with
any improvements thereon, situated in Bangor, Penobscot County,
Maine, more particularly described as follows:
A certain lot or parcel of land with the
buildings thereon situated in said Bangor, o
the easterly side of Seventh Street, being Lot
Number Ninety-six (96) as laid down on C.D.
Bryant's Plan of the "Savage Farm" so-called,
recorded in Penobscot County Registry of Deeds,
Plan Book No. 5, Page 9, said lot being 59 2/5
wide on the street and extending back from.the
street one hundred eighty (180) feet in length.
Being the same premises as described in a
Warranty Deed from Hilltop Properties, Inc. to
Daniel E. Cliford and Sherry M. Clifford, dated
July 3, 1990 and recorded in Book 4694, Page 76,
Penobscot Registry of Deeds.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges
and appurtenances belonging to the granted
estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantee any
interest the Grantor may have in the above described property by
virtue of a sewer lien recorded in Book 5847, Page 141, Penobscot
Registry of Deeds. All public a ents or other public interests
in the described premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are
expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
sealed with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
RONALD 1. HELLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized, this
day of September, 1997.
