Public Ways
Responsible Department Engineering
Commentary:
As the Council is aware, the Bangor Housing Development Cnrpomfion is in the process of
purchasing property at the forma "Old" Capehart complex from the University of Maine which
includes 107 housing units. During the title review it was discovered that the streets running
through the property have never been formally accepted. The slashed Council Order would
accept these streets as Public Ways. A brief workshop has been scheduled prior to next
Monday's Council meeting, during which staffwill explain [his issue in further detail.
