Last month the Treatment Plant received full payment of outstanding
sewer charges against property located at 36 Blue Hill West owned
by Bruce A. and Roseanne B. Burke. The two liens w orded in
May and September 1995. Because these liens have matured, a
municipal quitclaim deed is necessary to release the City's
interest. The bank has requested that title revert back to the
Burkes.
The Finance Committee recommended approval at its meeting held on
July 9th.

THAT
Ronald I. Heller, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the real
estate located at 36 Blue Hill West in said Bangor by virtue of
matured municipal sewer charge liens recorded in Book 5847, Page
138 and Book 5958, Page 202 and a real estate tax lien recorded in
Book 5874, Page 315, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall
be directed to Bruce A. Burke and Roseanne B. Burke.

MUNICIPAL OUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located i
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantor, for consideration
Paid, releases to BRUCE A. BURKE AND ROSEANNE B. BURKE, both of
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantees, a certain lot o
parcel of land together with any improvements thereon, situated in
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, more particularly described as
follows:
"Being Lot #4 according to a plan of land
entitled 'Final Subdivision Plat of Pinewood
Estates for Land Investment, Inc., Ohio Street s
Blue Hill West, Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine -
prepared by Andrew J. Shyka and dated March,
1979, and recorded in the Penobscot County
Registry of -Deeds in Map File D47-79.
Being the same premises as described in a
Warranty Deed from William L. Munson and
Lorraine L. Munson to Bruce A. Burke and
Roseanne B. Burke, dated September 22, 1988 and
recorded in Book 4317, Page 347, Penobscot
Registry of Deeds.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges
and appurtenances belonging to the granted
estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantees any
interest the Grantor may have in the above described property by
virtue of sewer liens recorded in Book 5847, Page 138 and Book
5958, Page 202 and a real estate tax lien recorded in Book 5874,
Page 315, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. All public easements or
other public interests in the described premises for roads, sewers,
or other purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
sealed with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
RONALD I. HELLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized, this
day of July, 1997.
