Commentary:
The Treasurer's office recently informed us that a real estate tax
lien recorded in 1995 assessed against property at 35 Davis Road
formerly in the name of Barney Silver has been paid, together with
the administrative quitclaim fee. The attached Order would
authorize the release of the City's title in the property.

THAT
Ronald I. Heller, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized, on behalf of the city of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the real
estate located at 35 Davis Road (land) in said Bangor, by virtue of
an undischarged real estate tax lien for tax year 1995 recorded in
the Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Book 5876, Page 136. Said deed
shall be directed to Charleston Hill Group, successor in title to
Barney Silver.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a body corporate, located in Bangor,
Penobscot County, Maine, for consideration paid, releases to
CHARLESTON HILL GROUP, successor in title to Barney Silver, of
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, the property located in said
Bangor and more particularly described as follows:
Real estate (land) located at 35 Davis Road in
said Bangor, and further described in Volume
4702, Page 94: Volume 4825, Page 275; and Volume
5620, Pages 106-108, Penobscot Registry of
Deeds. This property is further designated as
real estate account number 59417, Assessor's Map
R21, Lot 34.
Being the same premises acquired by said City of
Bangor for unpaid taxes assessed for tax year
1995 by virtue of an undischarged tax lien
recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds in
Book 5876, Page 136.
The purpose of this deed is to release any interest the City
may have in the above-described property by virtue of unpaid taxes
assessed for tax year 1995. All public easements or other public
interests in the described premises for roads, sewers, or other
purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
sealed with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
RONALD I. HILLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized,
this day of July, 1997.
