The Treasurer's office recently informed us that a real estate tax
lien recorded in 1966 assessed against property at 35 Fruit Street
formerly in the name of Louise and C. Roselle O'Connor had not been
discharged at the time of payment. The attached Order would
authorize the release of the City's title in the property. The
administrative quitclaim fee has been paid, and the tax account is
current.

ORDERED,
THAT Ronald 1. Heller, Finance Director, is hereby
authorised, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the real
estate (land) located at 35 Fruit Street in said Bangor by virtue
of an undischarged real estate tax lien for tax year 1966 recorded
in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Book 2050, Page 184. Said
deed shall be directed to Edward Steltzer end Lesley Steltzer,
successors in title to Louise A. & C. Roselle O'Connor.

MUNICIPAL
The CITY OF BANGOR, a body corporate, located in Bangor,
Penobscot County, Maine, for consideration paid, releases to EDWARD
STELTZER AND LESLEY STELTZER, bath of Hampden, Penobscot County,
Maine, the property located in said Bangor and more particularly
described as follows:
Real estate (land) located at 35 Fruit Street in
said Bangor, and further described in Volume
1334, Page 273 and Volume 4106, Page 226,
Penobscot Registry of Deeds. This property is
further designated as real estate account number
53160, Assessor's Map 54, Lot 2088.
Being the same premises acquired by said City of
Bangor for unpaid taxes assessed for tax year
1966 by virtue of an undischarged tax lien
recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds in
Book 2050, Page 184.
The purpose of this deed is to release any interest the City
may have in the above-described property by virtue of unpaid taxes
assessed for tax year 1966. All public easements or other public
interests in the described premises for roads, sewers, or other
Purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
sealed with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
RONALD I. HELLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized,
this day of June, 1997.
