TAT, Ronald 1. Heller, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized,, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the real
estate located at 241 Center Street in said Bangor by virtue of
matured municipal sewer charge liens recorded in the Penobscot
Registry of,Deeds in Book 5752, Pages 348, 349 and 350.. Said deed
shall be directed to Frederick H. and Sharon N. Hill, a copy of
which is attached hereto.

Matured Sewer Liens
DATE: May 15, 1997
Sewer liens assessed against property of Frederick and
Sharon Hill at 241 Center Street were recorded in November. 1994.
They subsequently matured in June, 1995. Prior to their maturing,
Payment was received. However, the liens in question were not
discharged at the time of payment. Therefore, a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed is necessary so as to release the City's interest.
The matter will be on the May 19th agenda of the Finance
Committee.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantor, for consideration
paid, releases to FREDERICK H. HILL AND SHARON N. HILL, as
Grantees, Of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, a certain lot or
parcel of land, with the buildings thereon, situated in said Bangor
n the easterly side of Center Street and bounded and described as
follows, viz:
Beginning on said Street at the northwest-
erly corner Of house lot formerly E. Wiggins;
thence northerly by said street, fifty (50)
feet; thence easterly about one hundred twelve
and One-half (112 1/2)feet; thence southerly to
the northeasterly corner of said lot which was
formerly said E. Wiggin's lot, fifty (50) feet;
thence westerly by said lot which was formerly
said E. Wiggin's said lot to the point of
beginning.
Also hereby conveying to said Grantees, their
heirs and assigns forever, a Certain easement,
namely: the full right and privilege of entering
upon the land of Addie M. Lane and Liston F.
Lewis and Roberta D. Lewis on Center Street i
said Bangor, which adjoins the above described
premises and lies generally northerly thereof,
for the purpose of enabling the said Grantees to
make necessary repairs on the dwelling house on
the land hereinabove conveyed which is located
very close to the boundary line between the land
hereinabove conveyed and the land owned by Addie
M. Lane and Liston F. Lewis and Roberta D.
Lewis. Being the same easement conveyed to
Edmund J. Lester by Addie M. Lane and Liston F.
Lewis and Roberta D. Lewis by deed dated
November 16, 1971, and recorded in Penobscot
County Registry of Deeds in volume 2235, Page
180.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges
and appurtenances belonging to the granted
estate are hereby conveyed.
Being the same premises described in a Warranty
Deed with Covenants from Joanne C. Hill to the
Grantee herein, dated July 29, 1986 and recorded
n Book 3875, Page 205, Penobscot Registry of
Deeds.

The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantee any
interest the Grantor may have in the above described property by
virtue of sewer liens recorded in Book 5752, Pages 398, 399 and
350, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. All public easements or other
Public interests in the described premises for roads, sewers, or
other purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
sealed with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
RONALD I. HELLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized,
this day of May, 1997.
