Our office was informed by staff in Treasury that the 1999, 1995
and 1996 real estate taxes assessed against property at 207 Warren
Street and currently owned by Shane Geiser were paid on April 29,
1996. At the time payment was received, the 1995 tax lien was
discharged, but apparently not the 1999. The attached Order would
authorize the release of the City's title in the property. The
administrative quitclaim fee has been paid. and only the 1997 tax
remains outstanding.

THAT
Ronald 1. Heller, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized,on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the real
estate located at 207 Warren Street in said Bangor by virtue of a
matured real estate tax lien for fiscal year 1994 recorded in the
Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Book 5662, Page 133. Said deed
shall be directed to Shane Geiser, as successor in title to Russell
J. Stackhouse.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a body corporate, located in Bangor,
Penobscot County, Maine, for c sideration paid, releases to SHANE
GEISER, of Orrington, Penobscot County, Maine, successor in title
to Russell J. Stackhouse, the property located in said Bangor and
more particularly described as follows:
Real estate located at 207 Warren Street in said
Bangor, and further described in volume 5258,
Page 230; Volume 5268, Page 351 and Volume 6118,
Page 301, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. This
property is further designated asreal estate
account number 73677, Assessor's Map 35, Lot 77.
Being the same premises acquired by said City of
Bangor for unpaid taxes assessed for tax year
1994 by virtue of an undischarged tax lien
recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds in
Book 5662, Page 133.
The purpose of this deed is to release any interest the City
may have in the above-described property by virtue of unpaid taxes
assessed for tax year 1994. All public easements or other public
interests in the described premises for roads, sewers, or other
Purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
Baled with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
RONALD I. HELLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized, this
day of May, 1997.
