Item No. 97-190
Date April 28 1997
Item/Subject: Authorizing Execution of Municipal Quitclaim Deed
-- Real Estate Located at 64 Jefferson Street
Responsible Department Legal
The Treasurer's office was recently notified of three undischarged
tax liens assessed against the property at 64 Jefferson Street.
The tax liens in question were recorded in 1992, 1993 and 1994.
These taxes had previously been paid but apparently never
discharged on the record because the administraive quitclaim fee
had not been paid. In addition, the 1995, 1996 and 1997 taxes,
together with the administrative quitclaim fee, have now been
paid. The attached Order would authorize the release of the City's
title in the property.
