Commentary:
The Small Business Administration periodically offers grants for
tree planting programa. The attached application is for $5,000
to he used to reforest two demonstration plots in the City Forest
located north of Stillwater Avenue near the City limits. This
grant will allow us to plant 6,734 Seedlings and conforms with
our plans to develop an urban demonstration forest in this area.
This has been discussed with the Municipal Operations Committee
which recommends your approval.

Note: Each application must accommodate the three year cue and maintenance requirement of th
regulations. Care and maintenance includes but is not limited to: watering, pmmn& muiclung,
Fertilizing, weed and grass control, and insect and disease control.
As designated representatives of said applicant, I hereby agree to implement this project according
to the attached cost and technical proposals and to abide by the provisions of the Small Business
Administration regulations 13 CFR Parts 121 and 125 for this program.
