the property. The taxpayer entered into a workout agreement with
regard to the sewer liens. The taxpayer has paid all sewer
charges. The property taxes are current_ The Finance Committee
recommends approval of the deed.

ORDERED,
THAT Ronald I. Heller, Finance Director, 1s hereby
authorized, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the real
estate located at 749 Union Street in said Bangor by virtue of
matured sewer liens recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds.
Said deed shall be, directed to the George L. Tsculas Trust, and
shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor.

The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantor_, for consideration

paid, releases 'L.-TSOULAS TRUST, -GEORGE L. TSOOLAS
TRUSTEE, of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantee, a certain
lot or parcel of land together with any improvements thereon,
situated in Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, more particularly
described as follows:
"Beginning at an iron rod on the southwesterly
sideline of Union Street, so called, which iron
rod is further described as being the most
easterly corner of land now or formerly of Lewis
and Barbara Cleveland as described in a deed
recorded at the Penobscot Registry of Deeds in
Volume 5059, Page 193;
thence S 390-23'-46" E by and along the south-
westerly sideline of said Union Street a
distance of 39.46 feet to an iron rod set on
said sideline;
thence S 430-50'-34" W a distance of 150.00 feet
to an iron rod set;
thence S 390-23'-46" E a distance of 120.00 feet
to aniron rod set on the northwesterly line of
land now r formerly of First Healthcare
Corporation as described in a deed recorded at
the Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Volume 3727,
Page 109;
thence S 430-50'-34" W by and along the
northwesterly line of land of said First
Healthcare Corporation, a distance of 504.55
feet to an iron rod set on said line,- which
point is further described as being at a point
defined by the intersection of the northwesterly
line of land of said First Healthcare
Corporation with the northeasterly boundary of
land now or the University of Maine as described
in a deed recorded at the Penobscot Registry of
Deeds in Volume 2214, Page 285, said point is
further described as being 2.00 feet as measured
on a course of N 430-50'34" E from aniron rod
found at the most westerly corner of land of
said First Healthcare Corporation as described
in said Volume 3727, Page 109; .
thence N 390-23'-46" W,by and along the north-
easterly line of land of the University of
Maine, a distance of 125.14 feet to an .iron rod
found at the most southerly corner of land now
or formerly of Lewis and Barbara Cleveland as
described in a deed recorded at the Penobscot
Re915txy of Deeds in Volume 5059, Page 193; - - -
thence N 400-52'-50" E by and along the south-
easterly line of land of said Cleveland, a
distance of 659.47 feet to the point of
beginning.
Bearings referenced herein are calculated from a
traverse oriented to magnetic north in the year
1995, which traverse was established by PLISGA s
DAY, Land Surveyors for a survey of the premises
herein described."
Being the same premises as described in a
Warranty Deed from First Healthcare Corporation
to George L. Tsoulas, dated January 17, 1996,
and recorded in Volume 6034, Page 238, Penobscot
Registry of Deeds.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges
and appurtenances belonging to the granted
estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantee any
interest the Grantor may have in the above described property by
virtue of sewer liens recorded in Book 5643, Page 111 and Book
5643, Page 112, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. All public easements
or other public interests in the described premises for roads,
sewers, or Other purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
sealed with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
RONALD 1. HELLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized, this
day of February, 1997.
