In mud -January. 1997 the 1995 tax lien assessed against real estate
at 617 Ohio Street and currently owned by Violet Kenney was paid.
The administrative quitclaim fee was also paid. Taxes still remain
outstanding for 1996 and a balance on the 1997 assessment.
The attached order, if approved, would authorize a release of the
City's title.

THAT Ronald I. Heller, Finance Director, Is hereby
authorized, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the real
estate located at 617 Ohio Street in said Bangor by virtue of a
municipal tax lien for fiscal year 1995 recorded in the Penobscot
Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Violet E. Kenney
and shall be in the form attached to this Order.

The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal Corporation, located in
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantor, for Consideration
Paid, releases to VIOLET E. PENNEY. as Grantee, Of St. Petersburg,
Florida, the property located in said Bangor and more particularly
described as follows:
Real estate located at 617 Ohio Street in said
Bangor, and further described in Volume 3011,
Page 147, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said
property is further designated as City of Bangor
real estate tax account number 45973, Assessors
Map R35, Lot 51A.
Being the same premises acquired by said City of
Bangor for unpaid taxes assessed for tax year
1995 by virtue of an undischarged tax lien
recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds in
Book 5875, Page 242.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantees any
interest the Grantor may have in the above-described property by
virtue of unpaid taxes assessed for tax year 1995. All public
easements or other public interests in the described premises for
roads, sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
sealed with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
RONALD I. HELLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized, this
day of February, 1997.
