In late December, 1996, Key Bank paid the outstanding real estate
taxes for 1995, 1996 and 1997 against property owned by Sheldon
Hartstone and located at 682 Ohio Street. The administrative
quitclaim fee was also paid.
The attached Order, if approved, would authorize a release of the
City's title.

ORDERED,
THAT Ronald 1. Heller, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the real
estate located at 682 Ohio Street in said Bangor by virtue of an
undischarged municipal tax lien for fiscal year 1995 recorded in
the Penobscot Registry Of Deeds. Said deed Shall be directed to
Sheldon Hartstone, and shall be in the form attached to this Order.

MONICIPAL OUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located i
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantor, for consideration
Paid, releases to SHELDON HARTSTONE, as Grantee, of Bangor,
Penobscot County, Maine, all its right, title and interest in and
to certain property located in said Bangor and more particularly
described as follows:
Real estate located at 682 Ohio Street in said
Bangor, and further described in volume 4192,
Page 322; Volume 4219, Page 300; and Volume
4486, Page 171, Penobscot Registry of Deeds.
Said property is further designated as City real
estate account number 99128, Assessor's Map R35,
Lot 32D.
Being the same premises acquired by said City of
Bangor for unpaid taxes assessed for the year
1995 by virtue of an undischarged tax lien
recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of
Deeds in Book 5875, Page 185.
The Purpose of this deed is to release any interest the
City may have in the above described property by virtue of unpaid
real estate taxes assessed for the year 1995. All public easements
or other public interests in the described premises for roads,
sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
sealed with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
RONALD I. HELLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized, this
day of January, 1997.
