Recently, payment was recevied for the 1994, 1995 and 1996 real
estate taxes assessed against property at 1356 Essex Street,
together with the administrative quitclaim fee.
The attached Order, it approved, would authorize 'a release of the
City's title. Tax liens for FY 1995 and 1996 have been discharged
based on the payment received.

ORDERED,
TBA? Ronald I. Heller, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the real
estate located at 1356 Essex Street in said Bangor by virtue of an
undischarged municipal tax lien for fiscal year 1994 recorded in
the Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to
Roseanne Roach, and shall be in the form attached to this Order.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantor, for consideration
paid, releases to ROSEANNE ROACH, as Grantee. Of Bangor, Penobscot
County, Maine, all its right, title and interest in and to certain
property located in said Bangor and more particularly described as
follows:
Real estate located at 1356 Essex Street in said
Bangor, and further described in volume 3332,
Page 9, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said
property is further designated as City real
estate account number 90382, Assessor's Map R46,
Lot 2A.
Being the same premises acquired by said City of
Bangor for unpaid taxes assessed for the year
1994 by virtue of an undischarged tax lien
recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of
Deeds in Book 5662, Page 53.
The purpose of this deed is to release any interest the
City may have in the above described property by virtue of unpaid
real estate taxes assessed for the year 1994. All public easements
r other public interests in the described premises for roads,
sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
Baled with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
RONALD I. HELLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized, this
day of January, 1997.
