HomeMy WebLinkAbout1996-11-13 97-4 ORDER-Council Action Date November 13, 1996 Item No.97-4 Item/Subject: Immunization Program Grant Renewal -- Nursing Responsible Department: Health and Welfare This is the seventeenth renewal for the Imwnization Program Grant(e). This year, for the second time, the grant(s) are divided into two functions -- Nursing and Health educator. This is the second year of a possible four year renewal. The total amount of this year's grant is $68,970. Additional funds for the program will be available through a roll over of unexpended funds for 1996 (7 $18,00) and clinic generated revenues ($24,000). The purpose of the program is to coordinate and facilitate child- hood immunization for vaccine preventable diseases/adult flu, Hepatitis B and overseas travel.
