On October 9, 1996, and without a workout agreement, the outstanding sewer chargee and all real estate taxesthe property were paid. The Finance Committee recommended appro*l of a Municipal Quitclaim Deed at its meeting on November 4, 1996. The attached Order would authorize release of the City's titl . Heller, Finance Director, is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Used releasing any interest the City may have in the real estate located at 696 Union Street in said Bangor by virtue of matured municipal sewer charge lienal recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said dead shall be in a formapproved by the City Solicitor. W� Amynpppped to U Cowcilman 9]-2 The CITY OF BANGOR, acipal corporation located in Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine,, as Grantor, for consideration paid, releases to JEAN R. BLACK of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantee, a certain lot or parcel of land together with any improvements thereon, situated in Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, more particularly described as follows: A certain lot or parcel of (land onthesoutherly side of Union Street, formerly called the Avenue Road, in said Bangor, bounded and described as follows, to wit: Beginning on said street at the northerly corner of premises deeded to Leonidas Leathers by Charles E. Perry by deed dated May 24, 1890, recorded in Penobscot County Registry of Deeds, Book 602, Page 102; thence southerly on the westerly line of said lot forty (40) rods to its corner; thence easterly on the southerly line of said lot four (4) rods; thence northerly parallel with the first line forty (40) rods; thence westerly on said road four (4) rods to bound begun at. Being a strip four (4) rods wide off of the westerly side of said premises deed to Leonidas Leathers by said Perry aforesaid. Being the same premises as described in a Warranty Deed from Mary E. Robinson to Arnold Black and Jean Black, dated October 12, 1982 and I corded in Book 3332, Page 99, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Title to the above premises was awarded to the Grantee as the result of a divorce decree between Jean R. Black and Arnold R. Black dated May 24, 1988, an abstract of which is recorded in Book 4233, Page 172 in said Registry. Any and all other rights, easements, privileges and appurtenances belonging to the granted estate are hereby conveyed. The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantee any interest the Grantor may have in the above described property by virtue of sewer liens recorded in Book 5703, Page 137; Book 5703, Page 138; and Book 5703, Page 139, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. All public easements or other public interests in the described premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved. The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be Baled with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by RONALD I.
