HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-02-17 Penjajawoc Marsh / Bangor Mall Management Commission Minutes Penjajawoc Marsh/Bangor Mall Management Commission Meeting Summary – February 17, 2006 The Marsh/Mall Commission met February 17 at the City of Bangor Parks and Recreation Center to review preliminary plans for two residential subdivision proposals. Commission members in attendance included Cindy DeBeck, Tom Davis, George Elliott, Shep Harris, Jim Hinds, and Lucy Quimby. Elizabeth Payne represented Hope Brogunier. Staff members included Ed Barrett, David Gould, and Jim Ring. Chair Shep Harris called the meeting to order at 1:05 p.m. and introduced Don Becker, an Engineer with Civil Engineering Services, Inc. Mr. Becker then provided plans of the two projects and explained the proposed developments in greater detail. The first proposed project consists of a 14 lot residential subdivision served by a new roadway off Essex Street. It is located in an RRA zone. The second project would involve extensions of two sections of Molly Lane in the Stillwater Gardens Subdivision which would create 19 new lots. The zone is LDR. The group discussed various aspects of each proposal including setbacks, location of open spaces, and preservation of habitat, lot size, wastewater disposal and other considerations. The Commission will further discuss and review these projects at it’s regular meeting on March 3 at 1 p.m. at City Hall. Meeting adjourned at 2:45 p.m.
