For the month of January, we were up by 5%. Allegiant Air was down by 27%, but that was due
to the fact of the FLL flight no longer in service at Bangor International Airport. Delta and US
Airways are strong. The load factors are good. We are coming upon our peak season so we
hope the numbers will be better. Bangor International Airport does have better parking
situation this year. We now have the shuttle lot available which will provide the customer the
door to door service.
2. Business Development Activities
Networks 2012- In March, BGR participated in Network USA, an air service development
conference. We had 30 minutes to present our case to each airline. BGR presented proposals
for scheduled service to Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, and JFK. We also had
the opportunity to discuss BGR as a location for seasonal chartered service to Las Vegas and the
UK with a charter airline company. We offered our air service incentive program and our Small
Community Air Service Development grant as appropriate to the airlines. While none of the
airlines gave us a definite yes, neither did any airline say that they were absolutely not
interested in Bangor. Our strong passenger growth was a positive selling pint along with our
strong Canadian traffic numbers. We will continue to keep the discussions open for future

a. Report on 2013 NBAA: Schedulers & Dispatchers
thth
The 24 annual Schedulers and Dispatcher Conference was reported as the 4
highest attended conference in show history by AIN magazine. With more than
2,400 attendees, 425 exhibitors and 32 breakout sessions, this conference once
again takes its place as the most favored of GA Conferences. We were able to meet
personally with representatives of Multi-service and Pinnacle Operations. With
Mutli-service, we discussed the recent acquisition by WFS and how it would impact
our processes. Pinnacle was a preplanned meeting and was to introduce BGR to the
Pinnacle Operations Flight coordinators. Pinnacle currently has 80 clients and
represents over 400 aircrafts. Their transit tech-stops use Gander predominately,
and we are in discussion with them for direct service and competitive offerings.
Feedback at the booth from many customers continues to be very positive and
complimentary with no negative issues reported.
