Summary This resolve will accept and appropriate $155,579 from the University of New England to conduct an assessment and work on youth substance abuse prevention initiatives in the Penquis Public Health District, which covers Penobscot and Piscataquis Counties. This is the second year of this grant; primary activities will be to build capacity and implement evidence -based substance use prevention best practices within Penobscot County. The term of the grant is October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018.
