Item/Subject: Authorizing Execution of Partial Discharge -- Real
Estate Located at 219 Hudson Road

Property of Elwin Hurd located at 217 Hudson Road is subject to two
sal estate tax liens. Mr. Hurd's neighbors, Randon and Judy
Bragdon have an agreement with Mr. Hurd to acquire 12.1 acres of
his land. The Bragdons will pay a pro -rated portion of the
outstanding real estate taxes.
This Order will authorize the release of so much of the Hurd
property as is being conveyed to the Bragdons.
The Finance Committee recommended approval at its September 8, 1998
meeting.

authorized, to discharge a portion of property of Elwin Hurd as
more particularly described in Exhibit A attached, from real estate
liens recorded in Penobscot County Registry of Deeds, Book 6719,
Page 238 and Book 6406, Page 250, upon payment of outstanding real
estate taxes on that portion of the property to be released.

paid, granv to Randon E. Bragdon and Judith D. Bragdon of Bangor (129 Hudson Road),
County of Penobscot, and State of Maine, as joint tenants, and raids wARK NTY
COVENAD+TS, the real estate situated in Bangor in the County of Penobscot and Stare of
Maine, bounded and described as follows; that part of Lot 47, according to the Holland's survey
of lots in said Bangor lying easterly of the Hudson Road so called (formerly Six Mules Falls
Road), said lot being bounded on the south by land owned of Randon E. and Jud ult D. Brandon
and a line fence, said boundary being 2,560 feet more or less; on the east by a line fence dividinn
land herein conveyed from land now or formerly of one Sanford and one Mowers being 201 feet
more or less from the southeast comer northerly on the line fence to a pin; on the metric by a
straight line 2,691 feet more or less from said pin on the northeast comer to a pin on the
northwest comer on the Hudson Road; on the west by 237 feet more or less on the Hudson
Road from the pin on the northwest comer southerly to the pin that marks the common west
corner between the adjoining properties of Elwin L. Hurd and Randon E. and Judith D.
Brandon, containing 12.1 acres more or less.
For Grantor's source of title reference may be had to deed of Fras E. Hurd, dated
March _, 1982, recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds, Volume 3270, page 316; and to the
deed of Amass R. Kenney Jr, dared June 4, 1960, recorded in Penobscot Regls'ry, of Deeds.
Volume 1769, page 89.
