Commentary:
A property tax lien on 73 Husson Avenue, Bangor, matured o
December 2, 1997. The taxpayer has paid the outstanding property
taxes in the amount of $10,956.69 and requested acipal
quitclaim deed. This order would authorize the City to release its
interest by virtue of the 1996 tax lien.

TEAT Ronald I. Heller, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in real
estate located at 73 Husson Avenue in said Bangor by virtue of an
undischarged municipal real estate tax lien filed against 73 Husson
Realty Trust and recorded in Hook 6141, Page 60 in the Penobscot
Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Charles Adams,
Sr., successor in interest to 73 Husson Realty Trust.

MUNICIPAL OUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a body corporate, located in Bangor,
Penobscot County, Maine, for consideration paid, releases to
CHARLES R. ADAMS, SR., successor in interest in 73 Bussed Realty
Trust, of East Holden, Penobscot County, State of Maine, the land
n Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, with improvements thereon,
described as follows:
Real estate located at 73 Husson Avenue in Said
Bangor, and further described in Book 6100, Page
23, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said property
is further designated in City records as Map
R34, Lot 52, real estate account number 88709.
Being the same premises acquired by said City of
Bangor for unpaid taxes assessed for tax year
1996 by virtue of an undischarged tax lien
recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds in
volume 6141, Page 80.
The purpose of this deed is to convey any and all right,
title and interest in and to the described property which the City
of Bangor may have acquired by virtue of an undischarged municipal
tax lien assessed against 73 Husson Realty Trust. All interests of
the City of Bangor in and to the above-described premises for
roads, utilities, or other public purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
sealed with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
RONALD I. HILLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized,
this day of July, 1998.
