Item No. 98-274
Date .July 13. 1998
Item/Subject: Authorizing Execution of Municipal quitclaim Deed
-- Real Estate Located at 130 Thornton Road
Responsible Department: Legal
A sewer lien on property located at 130 Thornton Road assessed
against Wesley P. Detour, Sr. was recorded in May, 1995. In early
June payment was received in the Amount of $293.14 for the
outstanding sewer charges and the administrative quitclaim fee.
Because the sewer lien has matured, this Order would authorize
release of the City's interest in the property back to Mr. Detour.
There are no existing code violations with the property, and the
real estate tax account is current.
The Finance Committee recommended approval at its meeting held On
July 6th.
