Commentary:
The Treasurer's office has informed us that they are holding
payment of real estate taxes assessed against a mobile home located
at Lot 26, 438 Pinson Road for the years 1996, 1997 and 1997, and
owned by Barbara St. Lawrence. If approved, this Order would
authorize the release of the City's interest in the property by
virtue of the matured lien. Barbara St. Lawrence has sold the
mobile home to her daughter and asked that the deed be directed to
her.
There are no outstanding sewer charges. In addition, there are no
code issues with the property.
The Finance Committee recommended approval at its May 18th meeting.

ORDERED,
THAT Ronald 1. Heller, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the
mobile home located at Lot 26, 438 Pinson Road in said Bangor by
virtue of an undischarged real estate tax lien recorded in the
Penobscot County Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to
Cheryl St. Lawrence, successor in interest to Barbara St. Lawrence.

The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation, located in
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantor, for consideration
paid, releases to CHERYL ST. LAWRENCE, successor in Interest t0
Barbara St. Lawrence, as Grantee, of Bangor, the property located
In Bangor, Penobscot County. Maine, more particularly described as
follows:
.Mobile home located at Lot 26, 438 Finson Road
in said Bangor and further described as follow:
1994 12x50 Skyline, Serial Number 411162814.
Said property is further designated as City of
Bangor real estate tax account number 97669,
Assessors Map R21, Lot 5.
Being the same premises acquired by said City of
Bangor for unpaid taxes assessed for tax year
1996 by virtue of an undischarged tax lien
recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds in
Book 6140, Page 332.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantee any
interest the Grantor may have in the above-described property by
virtue of unpaid taxes assessed against Barbara St. Lawrence for
tax year 1996. All public easements or Other public interests in
the described premises for roads, sewers, or Other purposes are
expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
sealed with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
RONALD I. HELLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized, this
day of May, 1998.
