Quarterly Abatement Report Andy provided the Committee with the Sewer Abatement Quarterly Report. Vote: No Action Necessary 2. Acceptance of Extension of Hogan Road On October 11, 2006, Council Order 06-338 amended the Official City map replacing the portion of the previously approved Parallel Service Road between Gilman Road and Hogan Road with a shorter connector road for future development and providing access for the then proposed Super Wal-Mart. This action was recommended in the Penjajawoc Marsh / Bangor Mall Task Force Final Report. As part of the Wal-Mart off-site traffic improvements as outlined in the Maine Department of Transportation Traffic Movement Permit, related improvements have now been made and the City Engineer has determined the extension of Hogan Road has been satisfactorily completed. This was previously reviewed by the Infrastructure Committee on August 20, 2012 and unanimously approved and submitted for Council approval on August 27, 2012. However, this item was inadvertently assigned a duplicate Council number of 12-274 and was not formally passed by Council. 1 Accordingly, this Order is a routine action to formally accept the extension of Hogan Road as a public way and be placed on the Official City Map. Vote: Motioned/Seconded Unanimously 3. Acceptance of Rutland Street John outlined that Rutland Street was shown on a surveyed and Lotted plan of “Map of Hyde Park dated April 1903, recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds on June 9, 1903, Volume 8, Page 11. On September 22, 1997 the Council passed Order #97-404 to retain Rutland Street as a “paper street”. Rutland Street which is approximately 630 feet in length is located off Thirteenth Street and also Manners Avenue and is situated between Thirteenth and Fourteenth Streets. The City Engineer has determined that Rutland Street be accepted as an official City street and added to the Official City Map. Vote: Motioned/Seconded Unanimously Meeting Adjourned. 2
