The City's assent was reQuested as mortgagee under two recorded mortgage deeds. This Resolve would ratify the City Manager's action In granting the City's assent. IN CITY COUNCIL February 23, 1998 Passed CIT CLZJ 98-111 R E S O L V E Fatlfvin¢ Execution Of Acorgagee's Assent to Bangor Hydro -Electric Company Sole Line Easements - Former Freese's Building y �1 KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Maine, with its Principal office at, Maine 04330 the owner and holder of two Mortgages which constitute Liens against certain real estate located at Bangor, County of Penmeem; State of Maine, described in two Mortgage Deeds dared November , 1996 and recorded on November 6, 1996 in the Registry of Deeds for Penobscot County, State of Maine, in Book 6262, Page 275 and Book 6262, Page 290 to which reference may be had for a statement of the terms and conditions of said Mortgages and a description of the mortgaged premises, both being incorporated herein by reference with the me effect as if fully set forth herein; that the Crater in said Mortgage Deeds, Freese Building Associates, a Limited Partnership, who by Deed dazed May 28, 1997, conveyed to Hangar Hydro -Electric Company, cermin rights, privileges and easements therein fully set forth, which Deed is recorded or is to be recorded at said Registry of Deeds and to which reference is made for a statement of the rights, privileges and easements so conveyed; that for valuable consideration to it paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the undersigned owner end holder of said Mortgages, does hereby assent to the granting as aforesaid of said rights, privileges and easements and to the exercise thereof by said BANGOR HYDRO- ELECTRIC COMPANY, a Maine corporation organized according to law and having an established place of business at Bangor, Maine, its successors and assigns, forever, free from the lien and operation of the aforesaid Mortgages.
