Action Requested: Resolve Map/Lot: N/A Title, Resolve Approving an Additional $50,369 in General Fund Support for the Department of Public Health and Community Services Summary This order will approve an additional $50,369 in general fund support for Public Health and Community Services. The final negotiation of the state budget resulted in a reduction of monies to support programs funded through the Healthy Maine Partnership. The City of Bangor has a number of programs that receive full or partial funding through that program including administrative functions. If approved, this order will restore full funding for the Director position as well as some of the prevention functions. It does not however, restore direct funding for contracted positions that are engaged in regional work on prevention. Should the funding be restored in the future, the city will re-allocate overhead costs to administrative divisions within Public Health and Community Services.
