Re Channel Placement

In order to eliminate the problem that a few of our customers in the Bangor area have in
the reception of services that we we providing on channels 95,96, and 97, we we
requesting due city to allow FrontierVision to make the following changes. The reason
this problem exists is due to the fact that certain television tuners on cable ready
televisions will not pass those frequencies. We propose that by moving these thermals,
this would enable us to place premium services, which require a converter, on these
channels.

We would also ask the city to waive our 30 day notification to the customers. We will
notify our customers with a new channel line up card mailed to their residents; and utilize
our local channel, newspaper, and radio an advertise these changes.
Thanking you in advance for your cooperation. We certainly hope the city views this
change as FrontierVision's ongoing commitment to provide the best service possible.
